Brush past your neck kisses sewn on brown shoulders hands around your waist hovers oh I feel something growing can't stop now, I can't stop now oh, oh we are inside oh we are tongue tied blistering on fire, on fire Giving it all away Giving it all away Giving it all away Giving it all away Chase your swollen heart feel, feel your part I, I feel so, so still oh, oh so deep inside restless soul blood red tide take away our names our names Giving it all away Giving it all away Giving it all away I give it all to you Give it all to you Sitting on a chair so say you come oh so bare bare to the bones on your hands chair oh so wasted, cut and pasted oh, oh so deep inside souls, souls they writhe I can't take it all all Giving it all away Giving it all away Giving it all away Giving it all all to you Giving it all to you I can't stay forever in a room full of melted candles waiting for another cage of wilted flowers there is no no one here and no embrace all you are inside I can't take it all I can't take it all I can't take it all

Needle Down 05:26
you can't find the colors Christ who mock the flock in front of you the bleach on those who matter the taste of metal behind your eyes you push the needle down to scratch the itch the groove is hard to prove you lay your life down now needle down now now needle down now you can't stand the signal the mental squeeze from your TV why can't someone touch you? where are the words, it's just emoticons you push the needle down to scratch the itch the groove is hard to prove you lay your life down now needle down now now needle down now deer runs superfluous fawn metal killing machines are on their way the deer will win in the end heaven is full of lost souls wandering to find their names wondering where they came from and where they're supposed to go and why they are here maybe they're the deer? you can't find the colors find the colors you can't take the signal the mental squeeze you push the needle down to scratch the itch the groove is hard to prove you lay your life down you push the needle down to scratch the itch the groove is hard to prove you lay your life down now needle down now now

about

Originally intended as a 4 track EP, AGE OF DINOSAURS expanded into a 10 track album. The core material with the exception of the title track were all written as acoustic songs by Robb Donker and then expanded upon with the creative input by Matt Donaldson who lended his guitar and bass talents to the tracks Bare, And Counting, Thin Ice, Age of Dinosaurs and Needle Down from thousands of miles away. With a penchant for the dreamy and abstract buried in the songs are filled with lyrics and imagery about nature, fear of death, escaping abuse, hope, extricating oneself from past demons, fresh starts, the afterlife, desire, revenge, sex, drugs and rock and roll. Sonically in the indie rock tone with doses of art rock and glam for good measure produced up and down in spots. Self produced at Bone Breaker Basement Studio in Georgia.
